The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions made only through https://camix.co.uk The placing of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

  1. Status of Terms

1.1 These terms constitute a legal document (“the Agreement”), which sets out the rights and obligations of you as a purchaser (“you”), and those of Camix Ltd (“Camix”, “we” or “us”), in relation to the services and products offered by us through this site or any of the other sites owned by us. By registering for Camix services, you agree to the terms of this Agreement, and you re-affirm that agreement every time you use any of our services.

1.2 You agree to:

1.2.1 provide true, accurate, current and complete information about you as prompted by our registration form (such information being the “Registration Data”); and

1.2.2 maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or Camix has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Camix has the right to suspend or terminate your account, cease supply and refuse you any and all current or future use of the Camix site (or any portion of it).

  1. Place of performance and applicable law.

Camix Ltd is a company registered in England. Unless otherwise specified, the materials on this site are directed solely at those who access this site from the United Kingdom mainland. Camix makes no representation that any product referred to in the materials on this site is appropriate for use, or available, in other locations. Those who choose to access this site from other locations are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable. English law shall govern this Agreement.

You and we each submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to disputes arising out of this Agreement.

  1. Placing an order

3.1 When placing an order with Camix Ltd you have to first agree with the terms and conditions prior to the completion of your order.

3.2 We consider the contract of sale to be formed at the point of despatch by us of your goods.

3.3 Goods supplied to you by Camix is UK and non UK stock will correspond with their prices and description (subject to E & OE). If at any time this is not the case Camix will give you the right to reject the goods within a reasonable time period for a full refund, subject to terms section 4.1 to section 4.9 below.

3.4 We make every effort to ensure that all information contained on this website is true and accurate. However errors can occur. In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is shown on our website Camix reserves the right to abstain from fulfilling the order at that price. You will, of course, be notified, and at which point you will be informed of the correct price, and given the choice to proceed with the order.  As our buying prices are subject to change periodically we may on occasion be unable to supply at the advertised website price, in this instance, we will contact you and inform you of the correct pricing where you will have the option to proceed with the order or cancel the order with a full refund.

3.5 As we use the latest 3D Authentication card processing technology by placing an order on this website your payment will be processed on completing the order form, if for any reason your order cannot be fulfilled we will, of course, return a full refund to you.

3.6 We can only accept payment from payment cards registered in the United Kingdom and Europe, But we don’t accept Amex / American Express cards. 

3.7 Pre-Orders placed with Camix are done so based on the price information we have at the time of announcement.  Periodically pricing can change prior to product launch and all pre-orders are accepted as a non-binding agreement to supply at the specified price published when pre-order is placed.  All deposits are fully refundable at any point and any pre-order has the right to cancel.

3.8 In the event your payment fails several times within a day, you may be temporarily blocked from ordering from us, This will protect your account from any suspicious activity. Orders can be submitted again as soon as our system has eliminated any suspicious activity relating to your payments.

 

  1. Right to Cancel & Returns

4.1 You have the right to cancel your order from the point of placing your order until 14 days after receipt of your goods. This is the cooling-off period. All cancellations must be made by phone to 01133 310 283 or confirmed in writing within 14  days of receiving the goods, quoting your order no and your postcode. The return reference is your order ID, please make sure to include your order ID with the return or print the order confirmation email inside the return . Any goods received that haven’t been cancelled in this way will not be dealt with under the cooling-off period.

4.2 The 14 day Cooling-Off period is not a ‘try before you buy’ period. Any products returned to Camix under the Cooling Off Period must meet the requirements outlined in section 4.3.

4.3 Where Camix have supplied goods to you, you must take reasonable care of the goods in your possession pending their return to Camix. Returned goods must be returned as the same conation totally unused and in new condition as sold, A 20% surcharge fee will apply for a handling fees if the goods returned used or in different condition or missing any contents (Additional deduction will apply if goods paid with PayPal please see section 4.6). Camix will only accept returned goods complete with their original packaging and which do not exhibit any signs of wear or tear.  Any use of the delivered goods beyond that necessary to inspect the goods upon delivery, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, will invalidate your right to cancel the contract or may be subject to a restocking fee. When evaluating cameras you agree to keep shutter actuations (pictures taken) to an absolute minimum.  As shutter actuations are measurable, products with excessive actuations are not considered to be new.

4.4 Where Camix have supplied goods to you, these goods must be returned to Camix Ltd, Returns Department, Camix LTD – 7 Cliffe Park Way Bruntcliffe Road, Morley, Leeds, LS27 0RY, United Kingdom or be available for collection by Camix. The cost of returning goods is non-refundable, and where Camix collects goods, the direct cost of such will be deducted from the refund.  If an item is deemed faulty on arrival we will reimburse return carriage costs up to the value of £10 or offer to collect the goods from you. Any costs outside of this amount need to pre-authorised by us prior to sending. When returning goods to Camix, we recommend using an insured and trackable service and one which requires us to sign for the parcel upon receipt.

4.5 Processing times for cancellation refunds vary. Find out more in section 5

4.6 Once the notice of your cancellation has been received in writing Camix will make a refund of the contract price to your debit/credit card or PayPal account used to purchase the goods.

Please note that PayPal is no longer refunding transaction fees to merchants for payments made with PayPal. When you request to cancel your order or return it in a different condition as described in section 4.3, you will not receive the refund on the PayPal transaction fee of 2.90% + £0.30 (Rates may be different for international fees, please check here).

4.7 Where goods purchased from Camix display a fault or defect, you should immediately contact Camix to report the issue. All reported faults will need to be assessed by Camix and in some cases, by the manufacturer or repair agent. Where goods have to be returned to the manufacturer or repair agent, Camix cannot always provide a time frame for assessment and or work to be carried out. However, the repair process will not exceed 60 business days.

4.8 The cost of returning goods to Camix for assessment under warranty may be payable by the customer, depending on the circumstances. Each reported fault will be assessed on a case by case basis.

4.9 Faults or damage deemed to have been caused by misuse or accidental damage or due to the use of accessories, attachments, product supplies, parts or devices that do not conform to the manufacturer’s specifications. will not be covered under the terms of warranty and the cost of assessment and repair of a product in these circumstances would be chargeable to the customer. Warranty does not cover cameras or lenses that have been serviced or modified by anyone other than authorized manufacturer’s service agents. And the Warranty is not transferable to a third party.

A-        When is the warranty activated and how long is the duration?

It is activated on the date of delivery, as shown on the courier’s tracking system.

B-        What does the warranty cover?

It covers all manufacturer’s defects. Accidental damages are not included. Chargers, batteries, USB cables and accessories as such are not covered.

C-        How do I activate the warranty?

Your warranty is activated automatically on the date of delivery. For your convenience, there’s no extra step to take. Your warranty and purchase record is safely stored in our database.

E-       As a non-UK buyer, how does the warranty work?

In order to get your product repaired, you will have to return it to the UK.

 

Your statutory rights are not affected.

 

  1. Refunds processing time

If you return or cancel your order

  • For payments by credit/debit card and payments over the phone, Refunds will take 7-14 business days to be returned to your account. depending on your card issuer.
  • For PayPal payments, Refunds will take 5-7 business days.
  • For Bank transfer payments, Refunds will take 2-5 business days.
  • For cash payments, Refunds will be ready to collect back the same working day.

 

In the event that you need to make a claim under a warranty, please contact our sales office by phone on 01133 310 283 or by email sales@Camix.co.uk  We will be able to provide you with further details to ensure your claim is processed swiftly. The warranty is subject to proof of purchase is provided; therefore you should retain your sales invoice. We regret we are unable to cover any costs of any unauthorised repairs.

6.1 Camix shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage, which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this site. Camix will only be liable for consequential losses within the contemplation of the parties.

6.2 Certain links in this site (typically a banner advert or icon) will lead to sites, which are not under the control of Camix. When you activate any of these you will leave the Camix site and Camix has no control over and will accept no responsibility or liability for the material on any site, which is not under the control of Camix.

6.3 By placing an order on the Camix website you have the choice to opt into our email mailing list.  We will only email you periodically with offers from Camix that we feel may be of interest to you.  If you do not want to be included in our mailing list then you can opt-out at any time by following the opt-out link included on all email newsletters or by emailing sales@Camix.co.uk  We will not share any subscribers email or any personal details with any other third party.

  1. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Nothing in this Agreement shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer or exclude or restrict any liability for death or personal injury arising from the negligence or fraud of Camix.

7.2 Subject to clause

7.1, you agree that Camix shall not be liable either in contract, tort, negligence, statutory duty or otherwise, for any direct loss or damage (including loss or damage which is reasonably foreseeable or occurs naturally in the course of things) resulting from any acts, omissions, failures or delays occurring on or in relation to those parts of the Internet not under Camix’s direct control including, without limitation, damage for loss of business, loss of sales, non-payment of sums due, loss of profits, business interruption, loss of reputation, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss (even where Camix has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage).

7.3 The only liabilities that Camix can exclude are those arising from the following.

7.3.1 In cases where losses were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed.

7.3.2 Where losses were not caused by any breach on the part of Camix.

7.3.3 For any business losses, and/or losses to non-consumers.

7.3.4 Camix 2 year warranty is provided and valid from the delivery date. and no registration is required to obtain this warranty. Our 2 year warranty does not extend to consumables, batteries etc, please refer to the manufacturers’ warranty terms for these items.

7.3.5 The Camix 2-year warranty is non-transferable and will be considered invalid once sold to any other party.

Any missing or damaged contents must be reported to Camix within 48 hours of receiving your delivery.

Where can I have my order delivered?

This depends on your payment method. If you are paying with a credit or debit card then we can only deliver your order to the registered address for the cardholder or to a UK registered business address. If you pay using PayPal then we will despatch goods to any address you have authorised within your account settings.

If you have placed an order and paid via online finance then we will only deliver to the address that the finance agreement was authorised from.

DHL delivery update

Due to COVID-19, DHL no longer obtains a physical signature upon delivery. Instead, they record the receiver’s name and utilize GPS to document the delivery location, serving as confirmation of delivery. If you’re not comfortable with DHL’s current delivery protocol, If you are not happy with this DHL rule we recommend not placing any orders unless you specify your preferred courier service. We want to ensure your satisfaction with the delivery process otherwise we will use DHL for delivery

Refused Delivery

If you have refused the delivery, a charge of £7.98 can be levied to cover the cost charged by our couriers to return goods to us. Or would be the same amount paid for shipping in the checkout page.

Prohibited Goods

Drones are prohibited in certain countries, and customs may deny the clearance. Therefore, customers must ensure they check the regulations regarding imports before making a purchase. In the event that the package is rejected or not accepted by customs, we would not be able to reimburse the shipping fees. Furthermore, customers will be responsible for the return shipping fees, and these will be subtracted from the total refund amount.

Redirection

If you require a parcel to be re-directed after it has been despatched a charge of £15.96 will be levied.

Any shortages from deliveries or if goods have been received in a damaged state must be notified to us within 3 days of receipt.

  1. Coupons, promo codes and cashback

We will offer our valued customers promotional codes and coupons from time to time. These codes and coupons may be withdrawn or cancelled without any notice, unless stated otherwise.

Some promo discount codes provided in flyers are only valid for use for the second order, and we may ask for the first order number, If you use one of these coupons. If you fail to provide us the first order number and use the discount/promo code, we may cancel your order or invoice the discounted amount.

A promo code from a trade-in request or part exchange will never expire and will be valid forever.

We don’t offer cashback for our products and it can’t be claimed after sales.

Different terms and conditions may apply to some business to business orders, and this will be clearly stated in the invoice before purchase. By paying the invoice, you are accepting the terms outlined on the invoice.
