For the professional Filmmaker
The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro has been designed with the professional in mind. The camera boasts a 6K (6144 x 3456), Super 35 sensor along with an EF lens mount allowing you to use a wide range of Canon EF lenses.
Another fantastic feature is the built-in ND filters, offering 2,4 and 6 stops of light reduction. The filters have been designed to match the colourimetry and colour science of the camera and can be selected with a simple press of a button.
Shooting in low light situations is made easier thanks to the 13 stops of dynamic range combined with a dual native ISO range of 400 to 25,600.
The camera also features a tiltable 5” LCD screen, with a 1500 nit display so that it can be used in direct sunlight as well as two mini XLR audio inputs so that you can record with two microphones at the same time. This is perfect for interview setups or if you are looking to record ambient noises at the same time as voices.
The 6K Pro is capable of shooting up to 60fps in full-resolution and up to 120fps when it is windowed and can take still images up to 21.2MPs.
Total control at your fingertips
The 6K Pro gives you total control over filming thanks to its multifunctional handgrip and easy-access controls on the top and rear of the camera.
The ergonomic handgrip features controls such as ISO, White Balance (WB), shutter speed and a scroll wheel for quick iris adjustments as well as recording and stills buttons.
The rear panel gives you access to ND filter control and you can assign functions like high-frame-rate, focus zoom, false colour and more.
You can also access all of the settings quickly and easily via the large LCD touchscreen.
Multiple data recording
The 6K Pro comes equipped with both CFast and SD UHS-II card recorders as well as a USB-C expansion port, so that you can record directly to an external hard drive, allowing you to record 4K or 6K when using Blackmagic RAW.
The high-speed USB-C expansion port offers transfer speeds of up to 5 GB/s. This gives you the option to record to large storage devices so that you can shoot at 6K, 12-bit Blackmagic RAW for longer periods without having to worry about running out of storage space. It also means that you can plug the external disk directly into your computer and start editing/colour correcting from the same disk so that you don’t have to worry about transferring files.
Professional connections
The 6K Pro features a multitude of connections for the professional filmmaker’s needs ranging from audio monitoring to power and more. There is a full-size HDMI connector so that you can monitor your footage and this offers support for HDR and clean 10-bit output.
The camera features 2 mini XLR connections with 48-volt phantom power. This allows you to connect professional microphones and record 2 separate audio tracks at the same time so that you can get the best audio possible.
You also have the option to use the 4 built-in mics. These offer an extremely low noise floor and are shock and wind-resistant.
There is also a 3.5mm input that can be used for another microphone as well as a headphone connection, built-in speakers and a USB-C connection that allows you to connect and record directly to an external hard drive.
Stunning colours
The 6K Pro produces stunning image quality, accurate skin tones and faithful colour reproduction. This is thanks to the same generation, 5 colour science that is featured in the URSA Mini Pro 12K. You get a new dynamic 12-bit gamma curve designed to capture more colour data in the highlights and shadows, for better-looking images.
Custom 3D LUTS
The camera preserves dynamic range by shooting in a logarithmic colour space. This is fantastic for post-production but not so good when you want to monitor the footage live. This can be resolved quite simply by using 3D LUT’s. These can be applied to the monitor to give you an idea of how the footage will look after processing. You can also record them into the Blackmagic RAW file so that you can use them in post-production.
The 6K Pro features built-in LUTs such as Extended Video, Film to Video, Film to REC.2020 and works with industry-standard 17 and 33 point 3D LUT files.
Timecode Generator
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro features a built-in timecode generator so that you can shoot with multiple cameras while keeping perfect sync. You would need to plug in an external timecode generator into the 3.5mm audio jack to do this. The camera will then automatically detect the timecode and lock the internal generator. You can then stop and start each camera and they will all have the exact same timecode.
Davinci Resolve Studio* will automatically find and sync the shots from all of the cameras so that you don’t need to spend hours doing it manually.

Control wirelessly
You can control the camera when it is mounted on a boom pole, or other hard-to-reach locations via Bluetooth. Simply download the Blackmagic Camera Control app onto your Apple or Android device so that you can control your camera from a distance.
Powerful NP-F570 battery
The 6K Pro uses the NP-F570 battery which can be charged while using the camera so that you don’t have to worry about losing power during a shoot.
Davinci Resolve Studio
The 6K Pro comes with an activation code for a full version of Davinci Resolve Studio. This is a professional video editing software that is used by many in Hollywood to edit high-end feature films, television shows, commercials and more.
