The HF G70 camcorder’s 4K Sensor and DIGIC DV6 image processor can achieve UHD images with sharp details. A cinema-style bokeh effect can also be delivered with the 8-blade aperture.
Creative freedom
With a 20x optical zoom including advanced image stabilisation, and built-in ND filters you can capture high-quality, dynamic, and creative video. The camcorder also features five assignable buttons that can be used to customise for your best personal filming experience.
Fast Hybrid AF
The focusing speed is adjustable for fast or smooth autofocus and can be easily changed on the 3.5” LCD display depending on your shooting needs. For added usability, Face Detection AF and Face Tracking are available for busy environments where you need to keep a subject in shot. Alternatively, for those moments when you want more control over the focus, you can set the MF via the focus/zoom ring.
MP4 recording
The LEGRIA HF G70 allows for MP4 to be played through a compatible TV, while also granting the ability to record 4K UHD 150Mbps at 25P, and Full HD 35Mbps or 17Mbps at 50P/25P.
Flexible shooting
Slow motion recording in Full HD 0.5x and fast motion recording in 4K/Full HD up to 1200x, as well as a number of scene modes, give you complete flexibility over how you capture your video. The camcorder also allows simultaneous backup and relay recording via dual SD card slots for that extra piece of mind.
Livestreaming
Full HD UVC streaming is available through the camcorder’s USB-C output via Mac or PC, though audio output through USB is not supported. It is also compatible with Canon’s GP-E2 GPS receiver.
High-quality audio
The LEGRIA HF G70 also features a stereo electret condenser mic to convert sound into a high-quality electrical signal.
Colour match with Canon
Recording with multiple cameras can sometimes lead to slight discrepancies in colour grading during post-processing. The Canon LEGRIA HF G70 allows you to colour match with other Canon cameras, via the use of its custom picture menu, helping you achieve a consistent colour grading.
