155° Ultra-wide-angle FOV

Use the 155° FOV to quickly approach and get away from subjects in Super-Wide 4K, achieving tight shots and cinematic landscapes. You can adjust to any situation with the help of ultra-wide-angle, wide-angle, and normal-angle FOV options. Improve the immersion of high-speed flights or dynamic low-altitude shots. Additionally, an updated integrated propeller guard makes the Avata 2 drone more agile and lightweight, allowing it to manoeuvre freely in tight spaces.

1/1.3-inch Image sensor

Handling low-light conditions with ease and featuring an improved dynamic range, the upgraded 1/1.3-inch image sensor expands the Avata 2’s capabilities to deliver outstanding 4K/60fps HDR videos on every flight.

Use 10-bit D-Log M mode to capture rich detail in the highlights and shadows of your footage. Simultaneously increase the post-production opportunities for your content while further streamlining its colour-grading.

Stable video

Make use of RockSteady mode, with DJI’s latest stabilisation algorithm, to achieve smooth and steady footage even when flying at high speeds or in windy conditions. Plus, turn on HorizonSteady mode to handle horizontal rotations up to 360°, capturing your most ambitious shots while ensuring the footage remains locked on the horizon counteracting sharp turns or dramatic swaying.

Advanced positioning sensors

The Avata 2 accomplishes improved flight stability and safety, opening up the possibilities for low-altitude and indoor flights, thanks to its new binocular fisheye sensors for downward and backward visual positioning.

Additionally, when the drone’s battery is low or has lost signal, the automatic Return to Home (RTH) function is activated, adding an extra layer of security.

Fast transmission, effortless connection

The improved stability of the DJI O4 video transmission allows for greater safety and full immersion in each flight. Its two-transmitter, four-receiver, four-antenna design ensures strong anti-interference performance, is capable of a maximum video transmission distance of 13km, has a transmission latency of as low as 24ms, provides high-definition 1080p/100fps image quality, and has a maximum transmission bitrate of 60Mbps.

Wi-Fi connectivity allows for highly efficient and fast file transfer to your phone, post-editing and sharing.

Using AI for theme and video-type recognition, you can seamlessly filter through and select highlights among your best flight moments. Edit with One Tap for sound effects, colour restoration, watermarking, end credits, and more.

Plus, connecting directly to DJI Avata 2 via Wi-Fi, the LightCut app allows you to preview and edit your footage before download, saving you time and streamlining your creative workflow, while also saving your smartphone’s memory storage. Without the need to download the footage, the app offers editing and, combined with ‌One-Tap Edit, allows you to produce polished content in a snap effortlessly.
