The DJI Mic Mini is a powerful, wireless microphone in an ultralight body. The mic is capable of transmitting stable, high-quality audio along with an extended battery life for longer operating times. The transmitter is fully compatible with other products in the DJI OsmoAudio connection ecosystem such as the Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, or Osmo Pocket 3 without the need for a receiver making it even easier to achieve great audio with your footage.

Small, Ultralight & Discreet

The DJI Mic Mini transmitter weighs in at a mere 10 g* and measures just 26.55×26.06×15.96 mm (L×W×H) making it comfortable and discreet to wear while offering high-quality audio. A magnetic clip is also included giving you more options when attaching the microphone. This makes it easy for you to attach to a thin T-shirt for example to ensure that you look as aesthetically pleasing on-camera as possible.

High-Quality Audio

The DJI Mic Mini offers a range of useful features to ensure you get the right audio for every filming situation. This includes omnidirectional audio recording as well as the ability to record 2 sound sources at the same time making it perfect for interview situations.

Clear Audio Everytime

The DJI Mic Mini offers 2 levels of noise cancellation, Basic and Strong, to ensure clear audio wherever you are. The Basic level is ideal for quiet indoor situations and reduces fan, air conditioning and reverb noises. The Strong level is perfect for outdoor use and/or noisy environments and will cut out ambient noise significantly while retaining clear vocals. The mics include windscreens that can be easily clipped on to eliminate wind noise even further.

No Audio Clipping

The DJI Mic Mini features Automatic Limiting so that the volume is automatically lowered when the audio input is too high. This is particularly useful for content creators who find themselves in environments where the sound is changing constantly.

Easy Adjustments

It is easy to adjust the audio levels yourself thanks to the 5-level gain adjustment feature. This lets you alter the gain levels quickly in five levels using the dial on the receiver.

Mono and Stereo Recording

The DJI Mic Mini allows for both Mono and Stereo (dual-channel) recording. Audio captured by the two transmitters can be output separately or combined into a single track so that you have more options in post-production.

Safety Track

Another fantastic feature of the Mic Mini is the ability to use Safety Track. This has to be enabled within the DJI Mimo app and allows you to record two tracks at the same time. The main track will record everything at normal volume while the second track records at 6 dB lower. This gives you the option in post-production to switch between tracks and avoid any issues with clipping when filming in situations with fluctuating volumes such as live performances.

Easy To Store and Transport

The DJI Mic Mini can be easily stored and transported in the compact carrying pouch which can safely house the transmitter and receiver as well as mobile phone adapters. You can even keep the windscreen attached to the mic while in the case for an even easier setup out in the field.

Long Battery Life

The DJI Mic Mini is a must for long trips, interviews and other lengthy filming situations thanks to its long battery life and operating time. It is possible to get operating times of up to 11.5 hours* from the transmitter and up to 10.5 hours* from the receiver off a single charge.

Always Ready

The Mic Mini transmitter will automatically enter sleep mode when there is no signal detected from the receiver. It will wake again as soon as the receiver signal is detected again so that you can wear the mic all day without having to worry about frequently powering it on and off.

Preserve Energy

You can set the transmitter and receiver to power off automatically after a period of inactivity. This can be done easily within the DJI Mimo app and will shut down both devices if unused for 15 minutes so that you can preserve power for when you need it.

Up To 400 Metre Transmission

The Mic Mini can transmit audio at up to 400 metres* and allows you to record stable, high-quality audio even in bustling outdoor environments like a busy street or crowded event thanks to its powerful anti-interference capabilities.

Multi-Device Compatibility

The receiver can be paired with cameras, smartphones, computers, and tablets for ultimate versatility. You can connect to a camera via the 3.5mm audio cable and still be able to utilise synchronised power on/off with the camera. Using the receiver with a smartphone gives you the option for external playback without unplugging and can be charged by the smartphone. It is also possible to charge both the smartphone and receiver at the same time via the USB-C port.

Easy Wireless Recording

You can pair the Mic Mini with the DJI Neo drone for clear audio while filming. Connect the drone to the DJI Fly app and then connect the mic via your smartphone’s Bluetooth. The app will then ensure that propeller noise is eliminated automatically so that you can produce high-quality content with a cinematic look. It is also possible to connect the transmitter directly to your smartphone via Bluetooth with no receiver required.

DJI Mimo App

The DJI Mimo app offers many useful features to help you get the most out of the Mic Mini. You can easily update the transmitter’s firmware when connected to your phone via Bluetooth. You can then connect the receiver and smartphone via a USB-C adapter and update the entire system with a single tap. You can also adjust other settings in the app such as noise cancellation, auto-limiting, and recording start/stop settings.
