The Nikon Z 17-28mm f/2.8 Lens lightest full-frame, wide-angle mirrorless lens yet. Its lightweight and compact design makes it perfect for landscapes and creative storytelling, as well as video.
Design and Build
The lens weighs in at only 430g and measures just 75mm in length making it a great lens to have in your kit bag at all times. It has been constructed from 13 elements in 11 groups including 1 super-ED element, 2 ED elements and 3 aspherical elements. This construction produces superb sharpness and less distortion even at the 17mm end of the zoom range. The lens has a 67mm filter thread and has been sealed for protection against dust and water droplets.*
Ultra-Wide Angle of View
The 17-28mm focal length offers a 104°-75° field of view,* making it perfect for landscape, street and architecture photography as well as being a great choice for wide establishing shots for videographers. The lens also offers a minimum focusing distance of 0.19m, at the 17mm end which, when combined with a constant aperture of f2.8, allows you to create outstanding close up and macro shots as well.
