The Nikon Z 28-75mm F2.8 Lens is the latest addition to Nikon’s line-up of full-frame lenses for the Nikon Z family. The lens offers a versatile zoom range that is perfect for street, landscape and portrait photography with a fast, constant aperture and sharp focusing.
Design and Build
The lens weighs in at only 565g and measures just 120.5mm in length making it a great lens to have in your kit bag at all times. It has been constructed from 15 elements in 12 groups including 1 super-ED element, 1 ED element and 3 aspherical elements. The lens has a 67mm filter thread and has been sealed for protection against dust and water droplets.
Versatile Zoom Length
Thanks to its 28-75mm focal length, this lens can cover a multitude of photography styles. The 28mm side of the lens is perfect for landscape and street photography while the 75mm end makes for a fantastic portrait lens.
The lens also offers a minimum focusing distance of 0.19m, at the 28mm end, and 0.39m at the 75mm end. Combine this with a constant aperture of f2.8 and you can create outstanding close up and macro shots as well.

The Nikon Z 28-75mm F2.8 Lens offers a bright, fast and constant f2.8 aperture for superb low-light performance, while the lenses’ rounded 9-blade construction produces soft, natural looking bokeh for shallow depth of field shots.

The lens is perfect for video as well as photography thanks to its fast and silent auto-focus (AF) system, which is powered by an ultra-quiet stepping motor, allowing you to use it in environments where discretion is paramount.
Another feature of the lens that lends itself to videography is its silent control ring which can be set to control focus, aperture, exposure compensation, or ISO.
Focus breathing has also been significantly reduced so that focus can be adjusted without affecting the shot’s angle of view and the lenses compact size makes it perfect to use with a gimbal.
Customisable Control Ring
You can customise the smooth, clickless control ring so that it is the most effective for your workflow. It can be used for manual focusing as well as aperture, ISO and exposure compensation adjustments.
