Lightweight design

The design of the Nikkor Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S is lightweight at approx. 1470g (with the tripod collar attached) and optimally balanced by shifting the centre of gravity towards the camera body. This allows for super-comfortable and fluid handheld shooting when panning or framing your shots.

High-quality optics

Using SR and ED glass, this S-line optic regulates aberrations and colour fringing. Additionally, the Nano Crystal Coat provides excellent clarity by minimising ghosting and flare. Together these features ensure image sharpness and a pleasing bokeh if you want it.

AF tracking

Photographers can beautifully capture the speed, power, and grace of far-off subjects in everything from wildlife to birds, fast-paced motorsports to aerial displays. Up to 6-stop VR image stabilisation

In-lens optical Vibration Reduction (VR) provides stabilisation equivalent to shooting at 5.5 stops slower, achievable with a mirrorless camera equipped with a 35mm-film-size image sensor, and is capable of 6.0 stops with a Z camera that supports Synchro VR. This gives you the ability to shoot in low-light environments and still achieve a blur-free shot.

Coated and sealed

The fluorine coating makes for an easy-to-clean front element for crystal-clear shots. Rubber gaskets are designed to keep dust, dirt, and moisture out of all the moving parts of the lens and its mount.

Intuitive control

Assignable buttons and user-friendly functions make the Nikkor Z 600mm a lens that keeps you in the moment, allowing full creative control. The L-Fn buttons and silent control ring can both have functions assigned to them, while the memory-set button features instant recall of focus positions.

Expandable range

With a Z teleconverter, the reach can be increased by 2x (up to 1200mm) or 1.4x (up to 840mm) while maintaining all the lens’ powerful AF and VR capabilities with no loss of resolution.
