Nikon Z6II Camera 24.5 MP 4K Mirrorless

The Nikon Z6II is robust, easy-to-use, compact and stylish full-frame mirrorless camera featuring a 24.5 megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor and dual EXPEED 6 processing engine to produce professional-grade cinematic videos, and powerful performance when capturing still photos.

The Nikon Z6II builds on the success of the Nikon’s Z 6 and upgrades with improved Eye-Detection and Animal-Detection AF & continuous shooting speed of 14 fps plus an increased maximum number of shots in continuous shooting; 200 JPEGs or 124 12-bit uncompressed RAW images in one burst. Also added are dual card slots compatible with SD, XQD or CF-express cards. The Z 6II camera can deliver an output of 4K UHD and Full HD in both FX and DX-based movie formats. Its HLG shooting formats, meanwhile, preserve more detail, dynamic range and contrast – minimising post processing requirements.

Low light shooting
The Z 6II has incredible light-gathering capabilities so you can to create in any light. You get clean, full-frame images across the ultra-wide ISO range when shooting stills, and clean output when shooting video. Low-light AF now works down to -6 EV with an f/2 (or faster) lens—you’ll find focus even under the quarter-moon light.

Nikon Z Mount
The ultra-wide Z mount, coupled with an ever-expanding range of extraordinary NIKKOR Z lenses, lets you create with light like never before. Every lens, any aperture. Bright is brighter. Depth is deeper. Sharpness is sharper.

Faster shooting
The ultra-wide Hybrid AF system offers spot-on subject acquisition. You can shoot up to 14 fps at full resolution with full autofocus and auto exposure.

Twice as powerful
Whatever you do with the light, do it faster and more fluidly. Twin EXPEED processors double the power at your disposal for everything from AF to buffer capacity. Performance is smooth as silk, whether filming or shooting stills.

More speed for longer
The faster, high-performance buffer lets you shoot up to 200 JPEGs or 124 12-bit uncompressed RAW images in one burst. The high refresh rate means you won’t miss a second, and the dual EXPEED engines ensure lightning-fast write speeds.

Dual card slots
With two memory card slots at your disposal, you have room to adapt to any workflow. Separate stills from movies, or RAW from JPEG. Copy files between cards. Configure slots for overflow and backup. You can use UHS-II SD cards in one slot, and XQD cards or the latest ultra-fast CFexpress cards in the other.

Tough build
With a super-strong, lightweight magnesium-alloy frame, the Z 6II is easy to carry and tough enough to handle any location. Fully sealed against dust, dirt, and moisture, it will go wherever inspiration takes you.

Keep going
You can run the camera via a USB Type-C cable, and even charge the battery while shooting. Even on a long shoot, this camera keeps up.

Videography
Teh Nikon Z 6II is made for videography. The camera’s full-frame sensor and full-pixel readout enable broader dynamic range and sharper, cleaner video footage. AF speed and tracking sensitivity can be set during recording, and you can use Eye-Detection and Animal-Detection AF while filming. Flexible frame rates increase your options and you can output footage however you need.

RAW over HDMI
Maximum control in post. Faster transfer rates. The Z 6II lets you connect to a compatible ATOMOS external recorder to export video as ProRes RAW, which preserves all the data from the camera’s full-frame sensor in smaller files.

10-Bit HDMI output
Gain more flexibility when colour grading. Recording video at a high 10-bit depth retrieves billions more colours than standard 8-bit recording. With the Z 6II you can record 10-bit output directly to an external recorder via HDMI.

Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG)
Remove the need for time-consuming colour grading and shoot video footage ready for immediate playback on HDR displays. The camera’s HLG shooting formats preserve more detail, dynamic range and contrast—no post processing required.

Nikon FTZ Mount Adapter (optional)

  • Nikon F Lens to Nikon Z-Mount Camera
  • Maintains AF/AE with E, G, D Lenses
  • Retains Infinity Focus
  • Integrated 1/4″-20 Mount

The FTZ Mount Adapter lets you take full advantage of F-mount lenses when you shoot stills or video with your Nikon Z camera. There’s no loss in image quality. And NIKKOR lenses without Vibration Reduction (VR) will find new levels of sharpness.

Deep. Wide. Close. Sharp.

Auto Exposure shooting is enabled for hundreds of F-mount lenses. And F-mount lenses with a built-in autofocus motor retain full autofocus abilities.

Adapt smoothly. Shoot steadily.

Your Nikon Z camera doesn’t just work with your F-mount lens’ VR—it improves it. If you’re using an F-mount lens with VR, in-lens yaw-and-pitch detection is supplemented with the in-camera roll detection. And when you’re shooting with a non-VR F-mount lens, yaw, pitch, and roll are corrected in-camera.

The NIKKOR look

Seamless in more than just operation. The F-mount adapter is finished in leather-tone paintwork, smoothly blending the look of your F-mount lens with the adapter. And with your Nikon Z camera.

Go there

A dust- and drip-resistant build incorporates rubber seals for lens and camera connections as well as buttons and levers. A tough, light magnesium-alloy barrel means you’re good to go. And the large tripod socket ensures perfect balance when using F-mount lenses together with your Nikon Z camera.
