The LUMIX G100D has a high-performance built-in microphone that links to the angle of view and Face Recognition. This means that the G100D will not only track your face and keep you in focus but track your audio too! This feature is specifically important when you’re filming in crowds.

The built-in microphone can be set to auto (in order to track your audio as you move), front, back or surround. Meaning that you can personalise your audio capabilities to each filming scenario.

The 5-axis hybrid image stabilisation (for video recording only) works as a partnership between the gyro sensor in the camera body and the gyro sensor in the 12-32mm zoom lens. Combined, the G100D is able to detect camera shake and adjust accordingly so that your video is smooth and steady.

Record Continuously for Up To 90 Minutes

Charge efficiently via USB-C and record continuously for up to 90mins in FHD at 60p or up to 80mins in 4K 30p. If you’re shooting style is more stop-and-start (turning the camera on and off to reposition or travel to your next filming location) then the G100D will allow you to record for up to 45mins in FHD at 60p or 40mins in 4K at 30p.

Easily and quickly transfer your photos and videos

Send images and videos instantly with the LUMIX Sync App and share your creativity with your followers. The camera body has a dedicated button to send selected photos and videos straight to your smart device.

The G100D also supports Bluetooth v4.2, meaning you can simply and quickly pair with your smart device and utilise a low power Bluetooth connection without draining too much of your camera’s or smart device’s battery. Allowing you to Easily transfer filers directly to your smart device.

You can set the colour to show on the screen in a specific ratio so that you can ensure you capture the right action in your frame ready for your followers.

A new feature on the G100D is the Vertical Video. Many social media channels incorporate a vertical filming angle on their sites so the G100D has been designed to accommodate this. When you send your footage to your phone for editing or upload, the film will automatically be orientated correctly for you.

The G100D is capable of Interval Shooting and Image Composition Processing inside the camera itself. Take brilliant Time Lapses with exposure smoothing in 4K at 25p and 30p.

For post-editing, the G100D allows you to shoot in V-Log L, which has a great 12-stop dynamic range. Although not available in Time Lapse mode, this setting will allow you to colour grade your footage in post-editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and FinalCut Pro.
