All new AF Function Setting switch and AF Function button
The new Fujifilm X-Mount version of the 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS comes equipped with a unique AF Function Setting switch and AF Function button. The switch can be toggled to change the function of the button between AF Lock and AF activation on the fly.
Macro Capabilities
With a minimum shooting distance of 160cm and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.1, this lens can shoot either from a distance or up close.
Improved Optical Stabilisation
The Sigma 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS Contemporary has been optimised for Fujifilm cameras, with the stabilisation effect having been increased from four to five steps. This allows the user to shoot at slower shutter speeds which is perfect for low-light situations.
Reach Even Further
When this lens is mounted onto an APS-C-sized sensor you get a focal range of 150-600mm so that you can capture distant subjects without adding extra accessories.
Design and Build
The lens retains all of this performance in a compact 400mm ultra-telephoto zoom package with a filter size of just ⌀67mm and weight of just 1135g. The lens construction consists of 22 elements in 16 groups (4 SLD, 1 FLD) and has a 9-blade rounded diaphragm.
Push/pull zoom mechanism incorporated
For quick control of the angle of view, the zoom ring incorporates a push/pull mechanism in addition to the regular twist mechanism. The exclusive lens hood has also been designed to accommodate push/pull zooming and overall lens manoeuvrability. By making it possible to adjust the angle of view instantly, this lens gives photographers an even better chance of getting that crucial shot.
