Lens Construction

The Sigma AF 12mm lens is constructed of 14 elements in 12 groups, including two SLD glass elements and three double-sided aspherical lenses. The SLD glass elements have been carefully arranged to allow you to achieve high optical performance across the entire wide f1.4 aperture. Enjoy edge-to-edge, clear, crisp images with the well-corrected sagittal coma flare, even in low-light situations like capturing starry nights.
