Description

Sigma 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary – Fuji X

Sigma has designed the  Sigma 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary lens to be a world first. This extremely veritable lens is the world’s first mirrorless lens with an 18.8x zoom ratio, the largest for an APS-C format mirrorless lens. Featuring an HLA motor and outstanding optical stabilisation, this lens is capable of high-speed auto focus and image stabilisation. This lens is ideal for a wide range of photographic genres.

The Sigma 16-300mm F3.5- 6.7 DC OS Contemporary lens is available in a variety of popular mounts, including the L Mount, Sony E Mount, Fuji X Mount, and Canon RF Mount.

Versatile Lens

The  Sigma 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary lens has an incredibly wide focal range with a 35mm equivalent of 24-450mm. This lens covers everything from wide-angle for landscapes and interiors to super-telephoto for sports, wildlife and aviation.

Striking Close-Up Shots

The Sigma 16-300mm lens boasts a 1:2 maximum magnification ratio at 70mm, allowing for excellent close-up performance when capturing small subjects in great detail. This lens has a 1:3 maximum magnification at the wide end and 1:4 at the telephoto end, providing access to a huge range of creative opportunities.

Prioritise Protablity

The Sigma 16-300mm Contemporary lens measures just 73.8mm in diameter by 121.4mm in length and weighs just 615g, despite its impressive zoom range. This has been achieved through advanced mechanical and optical design, such as including a high reflective index glass element with significant thickness variation and aspherical lens element. Designed to keep up with you in all environments, this Sigma 16-300mm lens features a dust and splash resistant structure. The front element also features a water and oil-repellent coating.

High-Speed Autofocus

Capture even the most fleeting moments, thanks to the HLA autofocus motor for accelerated AF speed and accuracy. Perfect for capturing fast-moving subjects such as birds and vehicles.

Outstanding Optical Stabilisation

The Sigma 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary lens features optical stabilisation powered by the OS2 algorithm seen in Sigma’s super-telephoto lenses. This has enabled it to achieve up to 6 stops of optical stabilisation at the wide end and 4.5 stops at the telephoto end, which allows photographers to take photographs with blur-free results without the need for a tripod.

Zoom Lock Switch

The Sigma 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary lens features a handy zoom lock switch that can be fixed at the wide end, helping to prevent the lens from extending unnecessarily.

Consistent High Image Quality

The Sigma 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary lens has been carefully designed with 1 FLD, 4SLD and 4 aspherical elements, delivering excellent aberration correction and sharp results throughout the whole zoom and focus range. The use of advanced simulation technology, the Sigma 16-300mm lens, also guarantees superior resistance to flare and ghosting.

Suppressed Focus Breathing

This lens effectively suppresses focus breathing, making it the perfect choice not only for photographers but also for budding filmmakers working with multi-shot techniques such as focus stacking. Changes in angle of view are kept to an absolute minimum when changing focus, throughout the zoom range.
