Featuring high-precision, glass-moulded aspherical elements created with advanced processing technology. The lens also features SDL glass and high refractive index glass elements which altogether makes the lens perfect for capturing beautifully soft bokeh that has near-circular out of focus highlights, even at the edges of the frame.

The I Series are all built with all-metal construction, making them robust and durable. The lens is also part aluminium which gives a sleek and stylish finish. These designs are also used in SIGMA’s line-up of cine lenses, so you can rest assured that you’re handling a professional and premium product. On the inside, the lens is built with 10 elements in 8 groups with 1 SLD element and 3 aspherical elements.

Functional Features

The lens features an aperture ring that will give the photographer the option to amend the aperture via the lens or their camera. This also adds to the classic look of this range of lenses. Sigma has also incorporated sound-deadening grease to ensure the ring has a precise and smooth action.
