The Sony E 15mm f1.4 G is a super-wide-angle prime lens that has been designed with vloggers in mind. This APS-C format E-lens is perfect for use in low-light situations, thanks to a fast and bright f1.4 aperture while it’s 15mm focal length (22mm full-frame equivalent) lends itself to landscapes. The lens has a minimum focusing distance of 17cm allowing you to get up close to your subject and makes a perfect pairing with the Sony ZV-E10 Vlogging camera.

The Sony E 15mm f1.4 G lens has been designed to produce minimum breathing and features two linear motors for fast AF, quiet AF and tracking making it a fantastic choice for vloggers and content creators. Other features that make this a must for videographers include a declickable aperture ring, focus hold button, linear response MF and optimised active mode.

This APS-C format E-lens pairs perfectly with the Sony ZV-E10 Vlogging camera and the Sony Alpha A6600 Digital Camera.

Design and Build

Weighing just 219g with a complete length of 69.5mm, the Sony E 15mm f1.4 G combines 13 elements in 12 groups, including 1 ED, 1 Super ED and 3 aspherical elements. The front element has been multi-coated to repel dirt and to make it easier to keep clean. The lens is 25% shorter and 45% lighter than its nearest equivalent* and is dust and moisture resistant.

The Sony E 15mm f1.4 G boasts a wide F1.4 aperture and 7-blade rounded diaphragm allowing you to create organic-looking backgrounds with precisely controlled spherical aberration.
