The guide number of 58m ensures outstanding reach and illumination, fully brightening a scene, while the active cooling prevents overheating, perfect for longer shoots.

High-performance battery

Powered by the LP-EL battery, the EL-1 (Ver.2) delivers up to 2380 shots per charge or 340 full-power discharges. The battery fully recharges in approximately 2 hours 10 minutes, offers a life of at least 300 charge cycles, and includes a clear charge level indicator so you’re never caught out mid-shoot.

And with five brightness levels and five colour temperature settings, you can get the light and shadows exactly how you want them.

Switch seamlessly from E-TTL Auto flash to manual mode using Flash Exposure (FE) memory, locking in the perfect exposure for consistent results, even if lighting, subject position, or composition changes slightly.
