Olympus Tough TG-7 Black

The Olympus Tough TG-7 Black is a compact digital camera built with a rugged design for outdoor and adventure photography, as well as macro shooting, even in the most trying conditions.

Highly durable

Waterproof to depths of 15 meters, highly shockproof being capable of enduring falls up to 2.1 meters, dustproof to avoid sand or dust particles entering the camera’s internals, and freezeproof down to -10°C, the Tough TG-7 lives up to its name. The entire camera body of the OM SYSTEM Tough TG-7 is meticulously sealed, and important openings like the battery cover are further protected by a dual-lock mechanism. Dual-pane protective glass on the front lens is designed for anti-fogging, while the non-slip grip ensures a secure hold, even in wet conditions. Plus weighing only 249g, the camera is both lightweight and compact, perfect for adventure.

Bright and fast F2.0 zoom lens

For quick shutter speeds and reduced subject blur, the TG-7 has a brilliant F2.0 high-speed zoom lens, capable of 4x optical zoom and RAW recording. The use of a DSA (Dual Super Aspherical) Lens ensures extraordinary optical performance, while a TruePic VIII image processing engine works to produce exceptional image quality. Additionally, an AR (anti-reflective) coating on both sides of the sealing glass suppresses ghosting and flaring, and a high-speed back-lit CMOS image sensor provides exceptional sensitivity performance.

Versatile shooting

Capable of vertical video that can be easily transferred to your phone, time-lapse movies that showcase environmental changes, a construction mode for visual records in business situations, and Pro Capture Mode for getting those hard-to-time snaps with sequential shooting at 10fps.

Macro capable

A Variable Macro System allows close-up shooting up to 1cm from the end of the lens and a maximum image magnification of 7x. Alongside the Microscope Mode, Microscope Control Mode, Focus Stacking Mode, and Focus Bracketing Mode, the Variable Macro System expands the boundaries of macro shooting and close-up photography for the TG-7.

Underwater photography

The best companion for aquatic activities like snorkelling and riverside fun, this compact camera offers exceptional waterproof performance up to a depth of 15 meters. It allows for underwater photography at depths of up to 45 meters when used with the PT-059 Underwater Housing (sold separately). Optimized settings can be selected for five underwater shooting modes including Underwater Wide, Underwater Snapshot, Underwater Macro, Underwater Microscope, and Underwater HDR. Additionally, manual adjustments are possible for each underwater shooting mode, as well as automatic adjustments via the Underwater: Shallow, Underwater: Mid-Range, and Underwater: Deep white balance modes.

Remote control compatible

Remote shooting is possible via the RM-WR1 Wireless Remote Control unit (sold separately).

Extra features

The TG-7 has built-in GPS, air pressure, shooting direction, and temperature sensors. Its Field Sensor System automatically acquires location information (latitude and longitude), temperature, water temperature, altitude (water depth), and shooting direction tracking data while travelling. This information can then be loaded into the OM Image Share (OI.Share) smartphone app to link and display the route travelled and data with the recorded images.

Wi-Fi enables easy sharing of your images and videos directly from the camera to your smartphone or other devices using the free OM SYSTEM OI Share App. Furthermore, a USB Type-C port lets you charge the battery while still in the camera body.
