Description

Panasonic GH7 Camera Body

The next-generation Panasonic GH7 Camera Body is the flagship videography and content camera. It is packed with features that make it perfect for small video teams and solo creators including having the World’s First 32-bit float recording for superbly detailed and easy sound recording.

Professional Video Quality

The LUMIX GH7 is guaranteed to produce outstanding video. The newly developed 25.2MP BSI CMOS sensor delivers high resolution with a wide 13+ stop dynamic range boost. Features such as 5.7K 30p ProRes 422 HQ and ProRes RAW HQ video recording as well as Apple ProRes RAW internal recording allow you to shoot at professional, high-quality rates, producing incredible films.

World’s First 32-Bit Float Recording

Record sound with a much higher range of decibels, the GH7 is the world’s first ILC camera to offer 32-bit float recording. This advancement in technology eliminates the need to adjust sound recording levels during shooting when used with the new XLR microphone adapter (DMW-XLR2E sold separately). With 32-bit float recording, you are able to rescue loud sounds that would otherwise be distorted, or significantly boost volume on quite sound bites.

Phase Detection Autofocus

Capture every moment in stark detail with the GH7’s improved autofocus performance. The camera features PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) for high-precision autofocus on a wide range of subjects including the newly added real-time auto-focus recognition for aeroplanes and trains.

Improved IBIS

The Panasonic GH7 features improved image stabilisation technology for up to 7.5 stops of IBIS. This improvement includes the highly useful Perspective Distortion Correction and High mode for Active I.S to ensure smooth footage capture even when filming on the go and without a gimbal.

Real Time LUT

Capture footage as you see it in real-time by applying Real Time LUTs directly to videos and photos. With the option of loading multiple original LUTs, you can create and establish your own cinematographic look as a filmmaker.

Ultimate Workflow

The GH7 is designed to meet the needs of small teams and video creators. As well as having many pro features for video capture and proxy recording for workflow efficiency, the GH7 also supports native Camera to Cloud integration with Adobe’s Frame.io, meaning that you and your team can automatically back up, share and work jointly on the cloud in the ultimate collaboration.

Unlimited Open Gate Recording

The only limits to recording time with the GH7 are memory storage and battery life thanks to the integrated cooling fan consistently dissipating heat. This unlimited recording time also extends to Open Gate recording for flexible framing that covers all social media platforms and clients’ needs.

Thought-Out Build

The GH7 has a tilt-free monitor that doesn’t interfere with connected HDMI or USB cables when tilted. It is also constructed to be dust and splash-resistant, as well as freeze-resistant down to -10ºC for extended use in the great outdoors.
