DJI Transmission (Standard Combo)

The DJI Transmission (Standard Combo) is made up of a DJI Video Transmitter and a DJI Video Receiver and is particularly well suited for use with production monitors because it provides extended-range, low-latency transmission. In addition to producing fractional frame rates, it also supports metadata transmission via SDI and when used with mainstream cinema cameras can provide detailed shooting information for use when filming and editing.

Long-Distance HD Live Feed

The DJI Video Transmitter is able to achieve an on-ground transmission distance of 6km/20,000ft, due to being developed with O3 Pro Video transmission technology. This allows transmissions of 1080p/60fps at a max bit rate of 50Mbps, along with live audio monitoring at 16-bit 48 kHz.

End-to-End Ultra-Low Latency

Designed with the same chip solution as Ronin 4D, the DJI video transmitter and receiver have been explicitly optimized. Every link provides end-to-end ultra-low transmission latency. Making it ideal for use with cinema cameras like ALEXA Mini LF.

Up to 23 channel options

Thanks to the integration of the o3 Pro technology, DFS bands are added on top of the traditional 2.4 GHz and 5,8 GHz frequency bands. This provided a larger range of channel options, offering up to 23 options. Making it brilliant for professional crews, allowing for more compliant and interference-free transmission channels.

Seamless Auto Frequency Hopping

Supporting triple-band automatic frequency hopping, the DJI Video Transmitter automatically scans the electromagnetic environment, looking for the best wireless channel. A built-in frequency sweeper lets you manually select the optimal channel. This helps to reduce interference between devices.

Enhanced Transmitter signal

Mount DJI’s High-Gain antennas to boost the range of the DJI Video Transmitter by 40%, this extended range is fantastic for large-scale productions and film sets.

Two transmission modes

The DJI Video Transmitter allows the DJI Video Receiver to support one transmitter with multiple receivers for both video and audio feeds. Allowing for two transmission modes Control mode and Broadcast mode.

Control mode

Control mode delivers optimal transmission performance, this allows you to monitor from two receivers simultaneously, while the Ronin 2, RS 3 Pro and camera focus can be controlled remotely.

Broadcast mode

A larger crew, with multiple teams and departments, may require more access to a broad range of channels. Enabling Broadcast mode on top of Control mode allows access to an unlimited number of receivers.

Smooth, coordinated transmission

DJI’s Video Transmitter can operate with 20 or more transmitters sending signals to 20 or more monitors simultaneously. This allows for a smooth and coordinated transmission experience, difficult to achieve with other more traditional setups.

Compatible with DJI Master Wheels and DJI Force Pro

Thanks to the use of the remote monitor, when used with either the DJI Master Wheels or DJI Force Pro (sold separately) you can achieve a more advanced gimbal control when using the Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro. The equipment will then transmit control signals directly through DJI transmission. This also boosts the transmission performance and enhances signal range, stability and anti-interference capabilities.

Direct power supply by gimbal

Power the DJI Video Transmitter directly through the Ronin 2 or RS 3 Pro gimbal, simply attach it to the cold shoe mount on the bottom of the gimbal and power it without any additional batteries.

Multiple power Solutions

The Video Transmitter is compatible with the DJI WB37 Battery and can be used with the NP-F Battery Adapter, allowing you to use universal batteries. V-mount battery adapters can be mounted to the front or rear of the video transmitter via pogo pins on both the front and back of the video transmitter. This allows you to move freely, around a set.

P-TAP to DC-IN power option

Continuous power can be supplied to the video transmitter via a P-TAP to DC-in power cable. Providing a steady secure stream of power can be ideal for more stationary situations, allowing for a more dependable power supply.
